Maintenance and Troubleshooting Engineer E+WTB

Are you independent and proactive? Then this is the perfect job for you! As a maintenance and breakdown technician, you work independently from home and start your workday with your tablet. You perform work throughout the Netherlands for various clients, such as various (metal) companies. Due to the variation in tasks and sectors, a versatile and flexible attitude is essential. That is why we are looking for an electrician who can also fix mechanical faults and perform maintenance on machines.

The client specializes in machine maintenance and repair, including the installation of safety devices on metalworking machines.

What are you going to do:

• Measuring, repairing and/or adjusting electrical installations and controls of metalworking machines such as lathes, belt grinders, milling machines, column drills and sawing machines.
• Carrying out NEN 3140 inspections on machine tools.
• Assessing and adjusting electrical installations according to NEN-EN IEC 60204-1 and machine guidelines.
• Resolving mechanical defects, such as replacing bearings, seals, threaded spindles and gears.
• Detecting and mapping malfunctions and required replacements.
• Daily reporting of hours, material consumption, preventive and corrective maintenance, and NEN 3140 reports via a tablet.

What we ask of you:

• MBO diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (WTB).
• Independence in work and inspections.
• Willingness to provide on-site service (on the road a lot).
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients.
• Skill in troubleshooting on location.
• At least in possession of a VCA Basic certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Knowledge of the standards NEN 1010, NEN 3140 and NEN-EN-IEC 60204-1.
• Driving License B.
• Demonstrable experience in the mentioned activities is an advantage.
