Your work involves reading independently from an isometric drawing. You are concerned, among other things, with 'fitting pipes', which means that you connect pieces of tube or pipe together using welded stitches and then weld them off. This concerns supply lines, machine construction and/or district heating ducts (pipework), which are often welded with TIG. In addition, it may concern offshore pipes that can be welded with both Tig and Mig-Mag. In addition to these activities, the following activities may also be part of the task package; tinkering, drilling, grinding, bracketing, measuring and you are busy with many other activities. The work location is in the Velsen-Noord region. What does the position look like? The workshop manager is responsible for all work that needs to be done to ensure that the workshop and all projects to be carried out function properly, both in the workshop and on location to:
  • Recording/measuring work for clients
  • Making calculations in collaboration with the management
  • Keeping track of employees' hours and writing time sheets
  • Entry and exit inspections of incoming goods and the goods/products/orders manufactured by the company
  • Making plans for the assignments
  • Making work sketches/drawings and explaining the work to the staff and assigning the staff
