Engineer / Work Planner / Deputy Head of Pipeline and Steel Construction Business Office (Full-time)

What does the position as Engineer / Work Planner entail?
In this managerial role you are responsible for executing and managing projects in medium and heavy industry. You coordinate schedules, prepare manufacturing and maintain both internal and external communication. You are the point of contact for customers and work closely with the QA/QC, manufacturing and assembly departments. In his absence you will replace the head of the business office and in the long term you can grow into this position, where you will be ultimately responsible for the business office and manufacturing in our workshop.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Carrying out surveying work on location using 3D scans.
Making technical drawings and 2D/3D designs according to set technical requirements.
Processing Point-cloud data with software such as Edgewise, Autocad Plant3D, Autodesk Inventor and Navisworks Manage.
Engineering of new or existing pipeline routes and steel constructions.
Drawing up detailed drawings, material lists and work preparation.
Collaborate with clients, workshop manager and project supervisors.
Maintaining contacts with customers and suppliers.
What do we ask?
Completed HBO education in metal technology, preferably mechanical engineering, or comparable working and thinking level.
Experience with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, Autocad Plant3D, Navisworks) and ERP systems (Plan de Campagne or similar).
Extensive experience with Office 365 (Excel, Word, optional MS Project).
Knowledge of EN3834, ISO-9001, PED and other quality systems.
High degree of independence, structured working attitude, strong spatial insight, analytical thinking, pragmatic and no 9-to-5 mentality.
Good communicative skills.
Living within a radius of 35 km from Heemskerk is an advantage, but candidates from further away are also welcome.
