You are part of a team that currently consists of 6 Foremen. This vacancy concerns an expansion of the team. The Assembly team is part of the Production department, which consists of a total of 57 employees. The client employs a total of approximately 110 employees.

Leading, motivating and inspiring a team of mechanics. That is what a foreman does. You are also a point of contact for this team. What else do you do:

• Planning and organizing the work for new construction yacht equipment;
• Keeping an eye on safety, quality and efficiency;
• Participate in project teams.

You do this in such a way that the mechanics can assemble the equipment in time, build it into the yacht and put it into operation. There is almost daily consultation with the manager of the department about the work to be planned and the current affairs. This cooperation is necessary to signal, discuss and solve risks and other obstacles in time.

People know you as an enthusiastic, enterprising personality who naturally takes charge to ensure that equipment is delivered on time. What knowledge, skills and characteristics help you to perform the function well:

• Technical knowledge and experience and technical insight, gained through an education at MBO level and/or through relevant and sound experience gained in a
• technical environment;
• You are clearly an organizational talent, can set priorities well and are clear and concrete in your communication;
• You have at least 3 years of experience in leading, directing and motivating a team;
• You are goal-oriented and have an overview, which means you understand the processes well and can continuously anticipate them;
• In hectic times you keep a cool head and remain approachable for your team;
• Good command of the Dutch language and a reasonable command of English;
• Enthusiasm, eagerness to learn and a healthy dose of humor and cheerfulness.
